(Wo)man's bestfriend

Lexi and me.
It's been us to for a few weeks now and for a couple more. I have to say, while she gets me up early and wants a lot of attention, she makes me smile and keeps me from getting lonely. She helps me feel like I have a purpose. And, no matter what kind of day I am having she greets me with a sloppy wet kiss. She doesn't want a lot. Food, a walk and a little neck scratching and maybe a bone - that's what makes her happy.I caught her on the futon (where she knows she's not allowed) when I got out of the shower.Distracted by the bone.
I really am enjoying my time with her and I am grateful for the help I am getting too. It's definitely nice to know that there are some days someone can take her for an extra walk and wear her out or give her some extra loving. After playing with her doggie cousin Elle.Anyways, it's going to be fun to see Drew's face when he gets home. I've seen her this entire time and I think she is getting bigger. I can't imagine his response.Lexi with the flowers Drew sent me. (Yes Drew sent me flowers when he's the one training his butt off!)
