Toothfairy??

Miss Lexi is growing up!! She lost two teeth in less than 24 hours. Sadly, Drew is not here to witness her first big step out of puppihood. Have no fear, I saved them in a baggie for him :) It's possible she's lost more because I've been told that most dogs end up swallowing them, but she didn't seem to want anything to do with them once they fell to the floor - just a little sniffing. I do think she is beginning to grow out of her puppy stage. She definitely doesn't "chew" on hands as much as she use to. But slobbering... well that is another story! Lexi does seem to be getting pretty tall. I'm exciting to hear Drew's response when he sees her in a couple days.

Yes, I cut grass and weed whipped today. All by myself. The yard might not look as good as when Drew does it, but I am pretty proud of myself. I've never cut grass before - OK I rode the rider when I was about 5 with my dad, but that doesn't count. I am sure Drew can do it in a quicker fashion, but it's done and it didn't rain on me. O, and just an FYI. I don't suggest cutting grass, especially not using the weed whip in a bathing suit top. I thought I'd try to catch a little sun when i was out and it probably wasn't worth it. The flying grass HURTS!!

It's been us to for a few weeks now and for a couple more. I have to say, while she gets me up early and wants a lot of attention, she makes me smile and keeps me from getting lonely. She helps me feel like I have a purpose. And, no matter what kind of day I am having she greets me with a sloppy wet kiss. She doesn't want a lot. Food, a walk and a little neck scratching and maybe a bone - that's what makes her happy.I caught her on the futon (where she knows she's not allowed) when I got out of the shower.Distracted by the bone.
I really am enjoying my time with her and I am grateful for the help I am getting too. It's definitely nice to know that there are some days someone can take her for an extra walk and wear her out or give her some extra loving.After playing with her doggie cousin Elle.Anyways, it's going to be fun to see Drew's face when he gets home. I've seen her this entire time and I think she is getting bigger. I can't imagine his response.Lexi with the flowers Drew sent me. (Yes Drew sent me flowers when he's the one training his butt off!)
